The location of our site and the development of the infrastructure took approximately 5 years to complete and based on our production capacity we believe we are the largest facility of its kind in the United States. Our products have been extensively tested and we have achieved very positive results.
The final soil amendment is made by a composting process which creates a solid material, able to be spread in a commercial spreader which is our "O.N.E.™". The liquid version ("Liquid O.N.E.™") of the compost is produced by using our proprietary aeration system which blends and enhances the compost mixture to create what is known as compost tea.
"The "O.N.E.™" and the "Liquid O.N.E.™" are made from a combination of chicken manure and wood chips blended with our own microbe formula. Our dominant microbe formula is a proprietary blend of all natural ingredients and is produced in-house at our Alabama facility. These products have been approved by the USDA for unrestricted use in all organic agricultural applications. Our Castleberry Alabama location has the capacity to produce 10,000 tons per month of our organic fertilizer and depending on weather conditions can be completed in 30 to 45 day cycles. The Liquid O.N.E.™ takes 10 hours to blend and our current system can manufacture in excess of 20,000 gallons each month. The essential microbes in the soil grow the plants, trees, crops and grass; that is Nature’s way. GECO is dedicated to the re-building of our basic agricultural industry through the use of products designed to enhance and preserve the earth. We believe in strong, robust, environmentally friendly farming and home gardening built on sound organic restoration principals.
